Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick has been sent to jail by a judge in Detroit. See, the Mayor was informed that anytime he goes out of town, he needs to inform the court of his plans ahead of time.
He declined to do so, and so Judge Ronald Giles threw him in jail.
This has nothing to do with ' The Man' keeping Kilpatrick down.
The Hip-Hop Mayor kept his own self down.
Look up TRIFLING in the dictionary of Black slang, and Kwame Kilpatrick will be grinning back at you.
I have NO sympathy.

What an embarrassment.
The Governor is looking at the possibility of removing him from office.
Whenever I feel the shame of living close to Flint, I remind myself that at least I don't live in Detroit.
