Roundup of the Past Weeks Events

Hear analysis of this weeks events from the On Point Radio program.

It's been the week the news just keeps coming, and on many fronts. US Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez started the week on the defensive and ends it on the ropes, with e-mails tumbling out about "loyal Bushies" who would be kept on as US attorneys and others who would be fired. Karl Rove says it's all politics, and his critics say he should know -- his fingerprints are there, too.

Senate Democrats can't get an Iraq pullout past Republicans, and the top general there says he needs a bigger surge. General Peter Pace comes out on gays and morality. Khalid Sheik Mohammed says he did it all. Home foreclosures hit a 40-year high.
