Uh, good point.
Really, two good points in one:
a) Here's this plot, obviously not prevented by our engaging (coff coff) Al Qaeda in Iraq, and
2) Here's this "plot," possibly "homegrown" by law enforcement agents who infiltrated the "plotters' cell"
Take your pick. Neither looks good for Cheney's line of argument, yeah?

These guys are so wrong that you can often find multiple arguments against their claims.
