Al Sharpton has responded to a bloggers call regarding offensive comments about Black members of the Rutgers women's Basketball team, made by D.L. Hughley.
For those unaware of the situation-- as if the Rutgers players had not been through enough already with the Imus situation, Black entertainer D.L. Hughley recently made these comments. Yet, Hughley's comments were ignored by the major media. He received a pass. There was also no outcry whatsoever by any of those people who complained about Imus. All of a sudden they could not be found.
But if Jay Leno, or Letterman had made the same comments, there would have been calls for their removal as well. Black entertainers should have their double standard passes revoked....permanently.
