Thoughts On Obama's Foreign Policy

Barack Obama's presidency has led to a phenomenal improvement in America's standing around the world. He has returned moral leadership to the USA. Public opinion polls show America's popularity in Europe, Asia and the Middle East much higher than when George W. Bush was in office.

It's true that the image of the U.S. improved after Obama became President, But we have to keep in mind that after Bush, it couldn't go much lower. Some might say that perception could only go up after the Bush years.

Unfortunately, much of the Obama Administration's foreign policy is generally the same as the foreign policy of previous Administrations.

My friend Rikyrah - I have to come around to accepting that for you POPULARITY among the people reigns supreme.

This is the same "rest of the world" (meaning Europe) who is not only on the verge of economic meltdown domestically because of their unaffordable social welfare state but they are also are in close proximity to the nations of the Middle East. Their biggest fear is that the immigrants who live within their borders and who have not assimilated won't get to pissed against their new land of residency.
