Jack Cafferty Tells It Like It Is About Palin

Jack keeps it simple:

If John McCain wins this woman will be one 72-year-old's heartbeat away from being President of the United States. And if that doesn't scare the hell out of you, it should."

Good Lord!

And you can tell with that wince at the end that he thought to himself... "Uh Oh! I might lose my job..."

But i'm glad he told it like it is.

In all fairness... she garbled the response... and is not dealing well with the media. She gets nervous. Been there, done that. It's easy to get lost on a response...to open your mouth before you think about your answer... especially when you are nervous and not to mention on the world stage. However, if this were an isolated incident... if we were looking at this through a vacuum, then we could give her a pass. But that's not the case. This is on top of other evidence that says she's not ready for the job.

Clearly, what Katie Couric was attempting to get Palin to do was to explain why the banking sector was uniquely important and why it couldn't fail. Couric provided Palin with a lead-in to explain how the financial system works...and why it matters to mainstreet... It was her chance to show how much she knew about the economy and how it functions...from a basic, fundamental standpoint (any good high school or college undergraduate student of business should be able to understand the question). If she didn't understand the question...she should have asked Couric to rephrase it.

It was clear from her garbled response (which was not really the answer to the question) that Palin probably doesn't know a whole lot about the basic aspects of the U.S. economy.

And Yes... that should scare the bejesus out of Americans.

"Pathetic!"

Yep, Jack tends to tell it like it is_that's what I like about him_and I tend to Agree with him more often than not.

If this woman and HER running mate:

1. weren't so dangeous_and

2. weren't seeking the 2 highest positions in the land_and

3. didn't have the support of a number of Americans who are too twisted and/or too Stupid to recognize the danger those 2 pose_

__I'd rank Palin's interviews right up there with a comedy skit done by Lucille Ball or Carol Burnett_in other words, FUNNY as h*ll!

But because of all the points aforementioned, I've got no choice but take her silly azz seriously_

__and THAT is "Pathetic" too!
