I was waiting to see how long it would take one of these nuts to do this.
The Republican media has been encouraging it. It was only a matter of time. And I think it's going to get worse. This guy was sending a message to other nuts...who will attempt the same...or worse. I'm all for the right to bear arms.... but nonsense like this is designed to encourage extremism.
And of course a Black man would have been asked to leave. And that's if the Secret Service and local police were nice about it.
Apparently this guy was protected by State Law... however, the USSS can remove anyone who they feel is a threat at anytime as long as their protectee is in the vicinity...that is at their discretion.
It's interesting how when Matthews asked this loon what he wished to accomplish by brining a gun to health care discussion, he essentially suggested that it could give him leverage in "pulling" people more to his side. Translation: bring a gun and show the Prez you mean business. And the Secret Service sits on this.
Meanwhile, people are more concerned about 2nd amendment rights than they are about the President of the United States. I am more scared for Obama than I've ever been for anyone in my life.
"The two parties have combined against us to nullify our power by a ‘gentleman's agreement' of non-recognition, no matter how we vote ... May God write us down as asses if ever again we are found putting our trust in either the Republican or the Democratic Parties." -- W.E.B. DuBois (1922)
