Illinois Woman Dies Waiting In Emergency Room

Story from NPR's News & Notes:

Lake County, Ill., coroner Dr. Richard Keller talks about a black woman who died in an emergency room after waiting two hours for care. A coroner's jury is faulting the hospital, calling her death a homicide.

I Say--This report reflects the health crisis in the U.S.; a topic that I have covered here on MOA. This also supports studies that show racial disparities in healthcare.... but I don't necessarily see that as a main factor in all cases... It's more about class...and a healthcare system that is falling apart.
