Nat King Cole never gets old.
I'm not a fan of Christmas music (call me a grinch).... I don't really celebrate the Holiday... since i'm too broke to really do anything....and i'm always working and never connect with family.
But there are a few artists that I can deal with on Christmas... Nat King Cole is probably on that small list.
Most of the other stuff makes me want to pull my hair out after a few days of hearing it. I had to turn my car radio off the other day... because Christmas music seemed to be on every station that I listen to.
For me, Nat King Cole never gets old. Andy Williams never gets old. The Little Drummer Boy - Vienna Boys Choir Version. And Christmas in Sarajevo by the Transiberian Orchestra. That's my list. I don't care how many times I've heard them...I still listen to them.
I know what you mean about the radio. It was getting pretty tough finding a station NOT playing X-Mas music, so I just settled on the one that would play the ' Soul' versions..LOL
