Blacks Fare Worse During Recessions

Over at The Loop, I have a column up on how blacks do during recessions and how some cities are better for black employment than others.

I was listening to the recap of the "state of the black community" conference on Tavis last weekend. A lady said that while america was experiencing a high level of unemployment, the black community was at like a 20% unemployment rate.
