Speaking of Powell's objecting to the absurd notion that Palin is qualified to be VP:
It's been reported today (Tue.) 10-21-08 that:
Palin Claims Vice President "In Charge Of The U.S. Senate"
Yesterday, Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) sat for an interview with KUSA, an NBC affiliate in Colorado. In response to a question sent to the network by a third grader at a local elementary school about what the Vice President does, Palin erroneously argued that the Vice President is "in charge of the United States Senate":
Q: Brandon Garcia wants to know, "What does the Vice President do?"
PALIN: That's something that Piper would ask me! ... [T]hey're in charge of the U.S. Senate so if they want to they can really get in there with the senators and make a lot of good policy changes that will make life better for Brandon and his family and his classroom.

Okay, all kidding aside_ Alaskans really should be ashamed of themselves for having voted this woman in as their Governor. You'd think somebody_ANYBODY_ would've noticed that she's dumber than a learning-disabled jack-azz!
It’s not like she tries to hide it_she's too dumb to even recognize how dumb she is.
And as for the people who “admire” her and support her candidacy (mostly Talibangelicals) _surely that should be more than enough grounds to have their voting privileges revoked!
"The two parties have combined against us to nullify our power by a ‘gentleman's agreement' of non-recognition, no matter how we vote ... May God write us down as asses if ever again we are found putting our trust in either the Republican or the Democratic Parties." -- W.E.B. DuBois (1922)
