So a rumored story outing Idaho Sen. Larry Craig as gay was apparently spiked by the Idaho Statesman. So, um, was Craig feeling particularly frisky in celebration? From the subscription-only Roll Call:

Sen. Larry Craig (R-Idaho) was arrested in June at a Minnesota airport by a plainclothes police officer investigating lewd conduct complaints in a men’s public restroom, according to an arrest report obtained by Roll Call Monday afternoon.

Craig’s arrest occurred just after noon on June 11 at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. On Aug. 8, he pleaded guilty to misdemeanor disorderly conduct in the Hennepin County District Court. He paid more than $500 in fines and fees, and a 10-day jail sentence was stayed. He also was given one year of probation with the court that began on Aug. 8.

A spokesman for Craig described the incident as a “he said/he said misunderstanding,” and said the office would release a fuller statement later Monday afternoon.

After he was arrested, Craig, who is married, was taken to the Airport Police Operations Center to be interviewed about the lewd conduct incident, according to the police report. At one point during the interview, Craig handed the plainclothes sergeant who arrested him a business card that identified him as a U.S. Senator and said, “What do you think about that?” the report states.

I just find these so amusing from the party of ' Family Values'.

Where are his Holy Roller Buddies' comments on this?

Uh huh.

Misunderstanding? lol

I am losing track of all of these Republican misunderstandings. This gang of thieves is continuing their slow implosion.

This could be a major blow considering that he is a Senator. They can't afford to lose any votes. Although it is unlikely that they would lose a Republican seat... if he steps down he would simply be replaced by another Republican. The Governor of Idaho is unfortunately a Republican... Idaho is strong Republican territory.

Nevertheless, the this is more bad press for the Republican Party at the wrong time.

Thanks for the heads up... I have not had time to do my normal searching of the net. I have not been able to read through the Kos today. Too many sites on the net to keep up with...and too little time.

FLASHBACK - 1807. We as the rich and our heirs to the power of the NEW America must keep slavery as a right. We cannot let the slave become educated or long for the freedoms of us the white man. One slave plantation owner to another. "How many light-skinned slave kids do you have?"
UPDATE - 2007. We as the rich and our heirs to the power of New World Order must keep gays from assimilating into society. We cannot give them the same rights as "ordinary" citizens. One pseudo-straight senator to another. "How many bathroom trysts have you had this month?
Same mentality, different victim.

At least you admit where you get your talking points from:

Angry - Think about it:
It is ORGANIZATION not INDIVIDUAL based on the ENFORCEMENT of standards:

CF,

I crawl 20-30 sites a day (on the days when I have the time)...and they are websites from across the political spectrum.

I keep a list of well over 50 sources that I use for possible blog topics.

I definitely don't use Kos for talking points.
