Please!!! Remember the reports about Permanent U.S. bases.... I've posted on that issue a few times. They are not building those "superbases" for kicks.

U.S. troops will be in Iraq for decades and decades. The U.S. continues to lie to its citizens, leading them on in the belief that U.S. troops will leave Iraq. It's all a sham.
