I didn't learn anything new from this documentary.. Personally I think PBS's Frontline and others dug deeper. But for the average American who may not keep up with all of the details... it is a good review. Maddow did a pretty good job as usual.
It's a crying shame that no one was held accountable for this massive fiasco.... that trashed America's reputation (more than it already was) around the world... wasted so much money...and killed so many people.
Even more frustrating is that Americans act is if this never happened. It changed the foreign policy in such a way that the U.S. is now seen as the starter & instigator of wars... more than a defender or liberator. This pre-emptive war garbage will be part of this country's undoing (already seeing it... with country going broke because of its war addiction...and this military-first budget).
We are already seeing the media and Obama's foreign policy team attempting to soften up the public for more wars. So here we have an administration that probably doesn't want to go to war as eagerly as the GOP... yet because the U.S. is so entrenched and so dedicated to this strange relationship where it vows to support Israel at all costs... even if it means starting a war on its behalf...even if it's very bad for the U.S... The Admin has to do it anyway.
"The two parties have combined against us to nullify our power by a ‘gentleman's agreement' of non-recognition, no matter how we vote ... May God write us down as asses if ever again we are found putting our trust in either the Republican or the Democratic Parties." -- W.E.B. DuBois (1922)
