Where are the JOBS, John Boehner? Oh yeah, what did you say? " So be it"?

Speaker Boehner, you opened your yap during the campaign season to ask the President ' WHERE'S THE JOBS?'

Now, any thinking person knew that you and your fellow Republicans didn't give a rat's ass about jobs. Only those dumb enough to vote for you actually thought you were sincere in being concerned that there are jobs needed. WHY they thought this, considering that yours is the party which voted against everything in the stimulus, and held up unemployment benefits until you got tax breaks for rich folks, and were the party to challenge that unemployment isn't actually needed...but, there are those delusional souls out there who actually thought you and your party cared about unemployment.

Since you have gotten into office, it hasn't been about jobs. It's been about redefining rape, then letting women die if they actually need an abortion to save their lives, or it's been about repealing Obama CARES, or it's been about reading the 'Constitution', but only the parts that feed into your delusions. What we, the people have not heard from the GOP is an actual plan to CREATE JOBS in America.

What we've heard from you is the following.

From TPM.com:
Boehner: If Jobs Are Lost As A Result Of GOP Spending Cuts 'So Be It'

If House Republicans succeed in cutting tens of billions of dollars in discretionary spending over the next six months, some of the most immediate victims will be federal employees, many of whose jobs will be slashed as their agencies pare back.

At a press conference in the lobby of RNC headquarters Tuesday morning, House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) shrugged this off as collateral damage.

"In the last two years, under President Obama, the federal government has added 200,000 new federal jobs," Boehner said. "If some of those jobs are lost so be it. We're broke."

There we go.

First of all, the 200,000 new jobs is a LIE.

The President has created somewhere in the vicinity of 50,000 more net federal jobs.

50,000 vs. 200,000.

I can see where Orange Julius might have messed this one up.

50 vs. 200. Those numbers are so close together, anyone over the age of 7 would have had trouble with it...right?

So, that's the lie.

While 50,000 isn't a lot, it's at least the CREATION OF JOBS.

What would Speaker Boehner's spending cuts mean to jobs in this country?

from TPM.com:

How many jobs are we talking about? According to federal budget expert Scott Lilly at the Center for American Progress, Boehner's proposed spending cuts could kill almost 1 million jobs.

Lilly ran the numbers for Dana Milbank of the Washington Post:

using the usual multipliers, [Lilly] calculated that the cuts - a net of $59 billion in the last half of fiscal 2011 - would lead to the loss of 650,000 government jobs, and the indirect loss of 325,000 more jobs as fewer government workers travel and buy things. That's nearly 1 million jobs - possibly enough to tip the economy back into recession.

Milbank additionally notes that Boehner's spending plan includes some $450 million for the development of a second engine for the F-35 Joint Striker -- which is done in a GE plant in Boehner's district that employs 7,000 people. Lilly wrote Sunday that, despite Boehner's promises to end earmarks, the job-saving money for the engine's development looks a lot like an earmark.

ONE MILLION JOBS.
ONE MILLION.

But, he includes an earmark for an engine - THE PENTAGON DOESN'T EVEN WANT, for his district.

Naw, Orange Julius.

You wanna cut 1,000,000 JOBS...we'll begin right in your district. You shouldn't get ONE FEDERAL DOLLAR for the people who voted you into office. Y'all so against the federal government...then don't get ANY FEDERAL MONEY.

Rachel Maddow did a righteous takedown of the Speaker..her conclusion?

Orange Julius pretty much sucks at his job. It's pretty damn good.

But, next time you open your mouth to utter the word JOB....don't.

We know you don't mean it.

I am afraid the economy will get worse with these people I mean tax cut for the rich was not needed. The rich will only keep their money not spend their money to hire more people

Federal jobs add nothing to the economy. To the contrary, they TAKE from it by adding to our already usustainable deficit.

BTW, Lisa - The rich got rich by HIRING people.
