What is the CBC going to do about Joseph Cao and Steve Cohen?

What is the CBC going to do about Joseph Cao, the new Congressman from Louisiana and Steve Cohen from Tennessee?

Are they going to leave these large Black constituencies without representation in the CBC?

Are they saying, that these Black folk have no right to representation in the CBC unless they elect someone BLACK from those Congressional Districts?

I hope Barbara Lee deals with this issue. They sat on the sidelines, probably hoping that the Tennessee 9th Congressional District would ' correct itself', and get rid of Cohen. But, they RE-ELECTED him. Are they saying those Black folk down there didn't know what they were doing, and until they ' get it right' in the eyes of the CBC, they shouldn't have representation in the CBC?

No matter what the CBC does or doesn't do, the Black folk in these majority-Black districts, should have representation in the CBC. Cao and Cohen should be included.

Why would these men want to join the CBC?

They have no reason to. They are serving their constituents just fine without the CBC trying to micro-manage and dictate how they help their communities.

For me... what this shows is that obsolete race based political groups like the CBC should be disbanded. They have outlived their mission.

Do we still need these groups? If so, why?

What exactly are they doing for the people who they claim to serve?
