it feels odd to even type that, but that's what the reports are saying.

The President's Statement:

The Angry Independent said...: Great news.

BUT they scared the crap out of me at work today when they stated that the President would address nation with a huge message.. (late on a Sunday night..wtf), but they had no idea what the message could be. I assumed the worst... the apocalypse. lol Especially with everything else going wrong. And it didn't help that he was over an hour late with the statement.
Then one radio announcer speculated that POTUS was in a bunker under the WH. What in the.... I'm thinking end of the world.

Let's just say I was relieved. I have had enough bad news.

Suspected he was hiding in Pakistan somewhere and not in a cave in Afghanistan.

I was like you - it's Sunday, and 10:30 pm EST...what could the man be saying..

when, in my clicking through the channels I read ' Bin Laden is dead'...I didn't believe it. Not really. He's been the Bogeyman for 10 years.. the thought that he'd actually be dead was like...whoah.

it was just unreal.
