The Changing Roles of Women in the Military - A 5 Part Radio Series
NPR has an interesting 5 part series on the changing roles of women in the military. Despite military guidelines designed to keep them from frontline combat, many women are finding themselves in the thick of battle. With the need for women to be available to deal with female civilians, and with too few troops being sent to Iraq, women have been placed closer to the frontline than ever.
The fact that the lines are often blurred in urban Asymmetrical warfare, also means that women can be safe one minute and in a fire fight the next, without travelling very far.

Yes... I saw this Rikyrah. Thanks for letting me know.
We get cited like this from time to time.
We have been mentioned in Salon.com, NBC, Times UK, to name a few.
Often I don't even learn about it... so who knows.
