For those of you under the delusion that Hillpatine isn't up to dirty tricks; that she's been the 'nicer' and 'more polite' Hillpatine- let me disabuse you of that notion.

She is trying to undermine and de-legitimize Obama's victory. May that be plain as day to you.

Obama gains 3 delegates today.....

His magic number is now 119 delegates. He picked up a delegate each in Nevada, Kansas, and Maryland.

Hillary's last remaining argument is that Florida and Michigan should be seated as is. In the highly unlikely chance this happens, you need 1783.5 for a majority of pledged delegates(voted on delegates). This is seen as the threshold Obama or Hillary must pass to be guaranteed the nomination...as the superdelegates won't overturn the will of the people...i.e...the person who holds the majority of the pledged delegates.

If Obama gets his delegates from Florida....and the 55 uncommitted delegates from Michigan....he will be at 1735.5. To gain a majority, 1783.5-1735.5= 48 pledged delegates are needed on Tuesday to hold the pledged delegate majority with Florida and Michigan seated as is.

Obama and Hillary will basically split the delegates come Tuesday 52-51.

So on Tuesday night, under every scenario, Obama will be the pledged delegate leader. Chucky Todd made this point on the day Edwards endorsed. I did not include Edwards' delegates in my calculations.

This is why Hillary is pushing the Florida and Michigan votes to be seated AS IS. That would mean uncommitted doesn't go to Obama, and they are free to vote how they please. So that means Hillary can try to sway them to vote for her.

Remember, OBAMA WASN'T EVEN ON THE BALLOT IN MICHIGAN.

Clinton Slams Democratic Activists At Private Fundraiser

At a small closed-door fundraiser after Super Tuesday, Sen. Hillary Clinton blamed what she called the "activist base" of the Democratic Party -- and MoveOn.org in particular -- for many of her electoral defeats, saying activists had "flooded" state caucuses and "intimidated" her supporters, according to an audio recording of the event obtained by The Huffington Post.

"Moveon.org endorsed [Sen. Barack Obama] -- which is like a gusher of money that never seems to slow down," Clinton said to a meeting of donors. "We have been less successful in caucuses because it brings out the activist base of the Democratic Party. MoveOn didn't even want us to go into Afghanistan. I mean, that's what we're dealing with. And you know they turn out in great numbers. And they are very driven by their view of our positions, and it's primarily national security and foreign policy that drives them. I don't agree with them. They know I don't agree with them. So they flood into these caucuses and dominate them and really intimidate people who actually show up to support me."

Clinton's remarks depart radically from the traditional position of presidential candidates, who in the past have celebrated high levels of turnout by party activists and partisans as a harbinger for their own party's success -- regardless of who is the eventual nominee -- in the general election showdown.


The comments also contradict Clinton's previous statements praising this year's elevated Democratic turnout in primaries and caucuses, and appear to blame her caucus defeats on newly energized grassroots voter groups that she has lauded in the past as "lively participants" in American democracy.

"You've been asking the tough questions," Clinton said in April of last year at a MoveOn-sponsored town hall event. "You've been refusing to back down when any of us who are in political leadership are not living up to the standards that we should set for ourselves... I think you have helped to change the face of American politics for the better... both online, and in the corridors of power."

Clinton's criticism followed MoveOn's endorsement of Obama in early February. The group was initially established in 1999 to oppose the Republican-led effort to impeach President Bill Clinton, and now claims 3.2 million members.

In a statement to The Huffington Post, MoveOn's Executive Director Eli Pariser reacted strongly to Clinton's remarks: "Senator Clinton has her facts wrong again. MoveOn never opposed the war in Afghanistan, and we set the record straight years ago when Karl Rove made the same claim. Senator Clinton's attack on our members is divisive at a time when Democrats will soon need to unify to beat Senator McCain. MoveOn is 3.2 million reliable voters and volunteers who are an important part of any winning Democratic coalition in November. They deserve better than to be dismissed using Republican talking points."

Howard Wolfson, communications director for the Clinton campaign, verified the authenticity of the audio, and elaborated on Clinton's charge that these same party activists were engaged in acts of intimidation against her supporters: "There have been well documented instances of intimidation in the Nevada and the Texas caucuses, and it is a fact that while we have won 4 of the 5 largest primaries, where participation is greatest, Senator Obama has done better in caucuses than we have." About Clinton's remarks suggesting dismay over high Democratic activist turnout, Wolfson said, "I'll let my statement stand as is."

In fact, the Nevada caucuses occurred prior to MoveOn's endorsement of Obama, and when Clinton made her remarks, the Texas caucuses had yet to take place.

The disclosure of Clinton's statement disparaging the prominence of party activists in the caucus process comes after she repeatedly suggested that Obama's electability had been compromised because he had allegedly offended other key Democratic constituencies.

There are those who believed Hillpatine released this because this is a Sister Souljah moment for her, and that she think she can gain blue collar voters by disrespecting the liberal actvist wing of the Democratic Party. I don't believe this. First of all,these blue collar workers don't give a rat's ass about MoveOn.org. Second of all, she has to get the nomination in order to disrespect part of the Democratic base to appeal to General Election voters. So, that would be bad form for her to do it now.

No, I believe this was leaked for The Superdelegates. This was to remind them, once again, of yet another constituency whose support Hillpatine has dismissed. Another building bloc of the Democratic Party that she has disrespected, and that they would be fools to believe would actually work for her if she STOLE this from Obama. Just as they are delusional to believe that there would be an excited Black turnout for Hillpatine; not going to happen. Not after this campaign.

No. Whomever put this tape out of Hillpatine wanted to remind the Superdelegates of the bodies and dollars and activism that Moveon.org contributes. To think that they would just 'suck it up' and work for Hillpatine......presposterous, and they know it. The leakers of this want to remind the SuperDelegates that for all the smearing of Obama as a 'roll of the dice', Hillpatine is no sure thing, especially when you can't count on some of the most loyal base of the Democratic Party to turn out for her.

I respect Senator Clinton. She was a friend of mine before this campaign. She”ll be a friend of mine after this campaign. Because we’re gonna have to unify together to win in November. But I do have to say I was listening to some of the things Senator Clinton said down here in Mississippi over the last couple of days.

So I am gonna have to say a little bit about it.

You know as I understand it. Both Senator Clinton and President Clinton repeatedly talked about how I would be a great Vice President. They kept on saying well you know he would be a fine Vice President. It would be a formidable team with Clinton at the top and Obama in second place.

Now first of all..with all due respect..with all due respect. I have won twice as many states as Senator Clinton. I have won more of the popular vote than Senator Clinton. I have more delegates than Senator Clinton. So I don’t know how somebody who is in second place is offering the Vice Presidency to the person who is in first place. I mean. I am just wondering. I am just wondering. If I was in second place I could understand it, but I am in first place right now. So that is point number one.

But there is another. There is a second point. This is an interesting point. I want you guys to follow me on this. President Bill Clinton back in 1992 when he was being asked about his selection for Vice President. He said the only criteria, the most important criteria for Vice President is that that person is ready if I fell out in the first week that he or she would be ready to be the Commander in Chief. That was his criteria.

Now they have been spending the last two, three weeks. Remember with that advertisement with the phone call. Telling everyone.. Getting all of Generals to say well we are not sure he is ready. “I am ready on day one”, “He may not be ready yet” But I don’t understand it. If I’m not ready how is it that you think I should be such a great Vice President. Do you understand that?

See I was trying to explain to somebody a while back.the okidoke. You all know the okidoke. When somebody is trying to bamboozle you, when they are trying to hoodwink you. You.They are trying to hoodwink you.

You can’t say that he is not ready on day one unless he is willing to be your Vice President then he is ready on day one.

So look I just want everybody to be absolutely clear here, okay. I want everyone to be absolutely clear. We are in a tough battle and I don’t presume that I have won this election. Senator Clinton is fighting hard. She is tenacious. I respect her for that. She is working hard to win the nomination. But I want everybody to be absolutely clear.

I am not running for Vice President. I am running for President of the United States of America. I am running for President of the United States of America. I am running to be Commander in Chief. And the reason I am running to be Commander in Chief is because I believe that the most important thing when you answer that phone call at three in the morning is what kind of judgment do you have, not how long you have been in Washington, but what kind of judgment do you have when you are answering that phone.

And I believe that I have shown better judgment than Senator Clinton. I believe I offer a clean break from the policies of George Bush. Because Senator Clinton went along with George Bush on the war in Iraq. Senator Clinton went along with George Bush on her willingness to try to saber rattle when it came to Iran. She has gone along with many of the conventional ways of thinking about foreign policy that have gotten us into trouble. That is what I intend to change when I am President of the United States.

So I don’t want anybody here thinking that I that somehow well you know maybe I can get both. Don’t think that way. You have to make a choice in this election.

Are you gonna go along with the past or are you gonna go towards the future?

Are you gonna do the same old thing or are you gonna try something new?

I am not running for Vice President. I do not believe Senator Clinton is about change because in fact this kind of gamesmanship, talking about me as Vice President, but he maybe he’s not ready for Commander in Chief. That is exactly the kind of double speak, double talk that Washington is very good at. That people who spend a lot of time in Washington have a lot of experience at, but is not gonna solve the problems of the country.

It's about damn time he spoke up about it.

Post March 4th - Mad as Hell....and what went wrong for Obama.

I'm finally able to blog again after this weeks horror Show (starring the Clintons).

I knew that Obama was headed for trouble during the Ohio debate (and a little before that with the release of the photo of Obama in traditional African clothing during an official Congressional visit). It was clear that with the photo... The Clinton camp wanted to scare White voters in Texas and Ohio, where xenophobia and racism are already issues. The Clinton campaign seized on this built-in advantage. But the debate itself was a turning point. After the photo, they went after Obama again (with the help of Tim Russert & the executives who decide the questions) by asking him about Louis Farrakhan. This should have never been an issue & was not an issue before the Corporate media made it appear as such. The question actually caught me a little by surprise. But it had a purpose. It may have helped to emphasize Obama's race, and likely stoked fears among Whites in Ohio and Texas... particularly for those people who already had doubts about a black candidate and who may have been looking for a reason to discount Obama. Clinton only needed the fear mongering to work for a portion of the electorate... just enough to secure wins in the primary vote. After the debate...she went to the fearmongering again (with the help of her friends in the media) when the Muslim question came up during the 60 minutes interview. Then there was the red phone/3 A.M. ad.

According to exit polls and other data.... most of the late undecided voters (those who already had doubts) broke for Clinton 2-1... so the race baiting, & fearmongering worked.

After all of that, Clinton only managed partial success (of course her corporate media allies are not framing it that way). Obama really did everything that he needed to do, according to the list of things that I mentioned a few weeks ago. He won Vermont, and blunted her success in Texas....and he actually did pretty well there. As I type, they are still trying to figure out what is what in Texas....but it looks like Hillary only managed to gain a small handful of delegates from the entire night, when she really needed to get blowouts in all 4 States and gain 25, 30 or 40 delegates. She failed!

From the Obama Camp- Campaign Manager David Plouffe:

Our projections show the most likely outcome of yesterday’s elections will be that Hillary Clinton gained 187 delegates, and we gained 183.

That’s a net gain of 4 delegates out of more than 370 delegates available from all the states that voted.

For comparison, that’s less than half our net gain of 9 delegates from the District of Columbia alone. It’s also less than our net gain of 8 from Nebraska, or 12 from Washington State. And it’s considerably less than our net gain of 33 delegates from Georgia.

The task for the Clinton campaign yesterday was clear. In order to have a plausible path to the nomination, they needed to score huge delegate victories and cut into our lead.

They failed.

It’s clear, though, that Senator Clinton wants to continue an increasingly desperate, increasingly negative — and increasingly expensive — campaign to tear us down.

That’s her decision. But it’s not stopping John McCain, who clinched the Republican nomination last night, from going on the offensive. He’s already made news attacking Barack, and that will only become more frequent in the coming days.
Right now, it’s essential for every single supporter of Barack Obama to step up and help fight this two-front battle. In the face of attacks from Hillary Clinton and John McCain, we need to be ready to take them on.

The chatter among pundits may have gotten better for the Clinton campaign after last night, but by failing to cut into our lead, the math — and their chances of winning —got considerably worse.

Today, we still have a lead of more than 150 delegates, and there are only 611 pledged delegates left to win in the upcoming contests.
By a week from today, we will have competed in Wyoming and Mississippi. Two more states and 45 more delegates will be off the table.

But if Senator Clinton wants to continue this, let’s show that we’re ready.

Why isn't the media reporting the reality of the situation with the delegates? Why no reporting about the actual delegate count in the Texas contest?

The media is clearly trying to help Clinton. The corporate media has become an official part of her spin machine.

Even today... I have yet to see one major network report that Obama may have actually won more delegates out of Texas...or at least matched her delegates there. I have yet to see a major network mention that Clinton only managed to gain a small handful of delegates out of the entire night when she needed the kind of numbers that I listed above.

How in the Hell is that a huge victory? It's all about perception.
And they are spinning the Hell out of her wins.

I have yet to hear the big media mention the fact that just 4 or 5 weeks ago... Clinton was leading in Texas and Ohio by very large margins...as much as 20 points... None have given Obama any positive coverage for the way he was able to close the gap to be competitive in States that he was never supposed to win.

Instead...they turned it around and made it a huge failure for Obama...despite the fact that these were States that Clinton was supposed to win all along.

I'm rattled....but not by Obama's perceived losses...but by the way the White corporate media is framing events....and by how they are assisting Clinton by essentially using her talking points and by not scrutinizing her the way that they scrutinize Obama.

I'm also rattled (but not surprised) by the racism amongst the electorate... I expected that all along. That's why I never thought Obama had a snowballs chance in Hell- The U.S. is a racist nation... that will likely never give a Black candidate any real chance. But what really bothers me is how the uneducated voting public in some of these States is falling for the Clinton bull.

I think racism & fear are beginning to trump the "Change" theme. And this is why the Clinton's have been using the issue of race. Yes...people want change...but Clinton is reminding them that Barack is "The Black Guy" and that "Real Change" is not worth that kind of risky "roll of the dice". And what kind of "change" with the d*mb inexperienced n***er bring you anyway?

And once you plant seeds of doubt about a Black candidate in White voters... it takes on a life of its own. The doubt about Black people is already in the White brain....It is built-in; it simply needs to be triggered or turned on. And Clinton understands this and is trying to exploit it for all it's worth.

Barack will be damaged from here on out.... the question will be... to what degree will he be damaged.

It appeared that he lost some White voters in Ohio and Texas... So the racial nonsense is really starting to take a toll.

It will probably hurt him in Pennsylvania, Indiana, Oregon, and other places... even in Mississippi and North Carolina. But he should win enough of the remaining States to stay ahead in delegates. Wyoming will be interesting. Mississippi will be interesting as well... I want to see what percentage of the White vote he gets in both States.

I sat down and wrote a battle plan for Obama (If only I were a strategist for him). Clinton is so vulnerable in so many ways.... Unfortunately... Obama has no political attack dogs who know how to really fight & who could ruin her candidacy. They are too soft.

I could ruin her candidacy in about two weeks if I had the right pulpit.

New Study Reveals Media Bias Against Obama

Folks who have been paying attention should already be aware of this.

It has been clear for weeks that the media has been attempting to help Hillary Clinton.

And unfortunately if looks like the dirty politics are paying off for Clinton. According to reports, many observers believe that Obama's momentum may have been blunted. Americans tend to respond more to negative politics than to positive politics. So it's no surprise that Clinton decided to go negative. It's the same reason why Republican strategists choose dirty tricks, and lying, over a more positive message.

Watching the Debate....Did You See How They Set Obama Up?

The slob Tim Russert set up the swiftboat attempt by raising the issue of Louis Farrakhan (who had to know that he would hurt Obama with his "endorsement"). F@ck Louis Farrakhan!

But how did this even become an issue?

Clinton and her media allies brought this up as a way to:

#1. Drive a wedge between Obama and Black Americans... by putting him in a position to "reject" Farrakhan (a man who many negroes love).

#2. For the purpose of fearmongering...to peel White support away from Obama.

This was a swiftboat (political) assassination attempt on Barack Obama.

McCain Supporter Disparages Obama; McCain Apologizes

CINCINNATI -- A supporter of Arizona Sen. John McCain repeatedly used Barack Obama's middle name, Hussein, while ridiculing him as a terrorist sympathizer in an introductory speech for McCain at a rally here this morning.

Immediately afterward, former Ohio congressman and former Bush administration official Rob Portman praised the supporter, talk show host Bill Cunningham, as an "extremely important" part of the McCain campaign.

Cunningham, who is known for his right-wing, fiery rhetoric on the radio, challenged the media to "stop taking sides and begin covering Barack Hussein Obama" as they do Republicans.

He used Obama's middle name two more times and referred to him as "a hack, Chicago-style Daley politician who's picturing himself as change. When he gets done with you, all you're going to have in your pocket is change."

He then mocked foreign policy statements of "Barack Hussein Obama," calling him the "fraud from Chicago" and saying that if Obama were to be elected president he would meet with the leaders of enemy nations. He said the "world leaders who want to kill us" will be "singing Kumbaya together around the table with Barack Obama."

Later in his comments, he said there is a big difference between Secretaries of State "Condoleezza Rice and Madeleine Albright, who looks like death warmed over. I think there's a difference between Condi and Madeleine. "

He also referred to retired Gen. Wesley Clark as a "Clintonista."

McCain did not mention Cunningham's comments in his speech to the enthusiastic crowd. But afterward, in comments to reporters, McCain apologized profusely for "any disparaging remarks" made about his Democratic rivals.

"Whatever suggestion was made that was in any way disparaging to the integrity, character, honesty of either Senator Obama or Senator Clinton was wrong, and I condemn it," McCain said. "I will take responsibility and I apologize for it."
Pressed by reporters, McCain said he will "make sure nothing like that ever happens again" and said, "I absolutely repudiate such comments."

A spokesman for Obama, Bill Burton, said: "We appreciate Senator McCain's remarks. It is a sign that if there is a McCain-Obama general election, it can be intensely competitive but the candidates will attempt to keep it respectful and focused on issues."

Portman said after McCain's speech that Cunningham is "often controversial" and that it did not surprise him that Cunningham would have made news with his comments at the rally.

But on stage earlier, Portman was effusive about Cunningham's speech. "Willie, you're out of control again. So, what else is new? But we love him," Portman told the crowd. "But I've got to tell you, Bill Cunningham lending his voice to this campaign is extremely important."

The sarcastic speech by Cunningham followed comments by another supporter, a prosecutor from the Cincinnati area, who mocked Obama's lack of military service and his message of optimism.

Joe Deters called Obama the "presumptive Democratic candidate" and predicted that Obama's success will quickly fade as people see through his rhetoric.

He said that will happen "after the vortex of love for this candidate stops -- and I feel so badly for the Clintons about this, don't you? -- and everybody sobers up and says, what does this guy really stand for?"

Deters whipped up the audience of about 400 by accusing Obama of supporting policies that Republicans hate.

"How about raising your taxes? How about that?" Deters said, prompting loud boos from the crowd.

"How about universal health care?"

More boos.

"How about the Democrats fighting with each other on how quickly they will surrender to the terrorists in Iraq?"

More boos.

Deters then questioned Obama's lack of military experience. He cited McCain's well-known history of having spent five years in a Vietnamese prison cell and having two sons serving "in uniform," and then accused Obama of having never risked anything.

"The only thing he has ever risked was a filing fee for reelection," Deters said. "That's the only thing he ever risked."

However, McCain later tried to "distance" himself from the remarks.
I think this will be the beginning of a long trend of McCain "distancing" himself from the attacks launched by his people....knowing full well what they are doing. It looks like this will be a part of McCain's campaign strategy.

Clinton Launches Nasty (racist) Nuclear Attack on Obama

I am unable to type... I'm afraid I will write something that will get me into big trouble. Just follow the link.

But I will say that it's time for Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi, Rahm Emanuel, Harry Reid, Clyburn, Durbin, Hoyer and all the rest, to get off of their butts and intervene to bring this to an end. I can't imagine that they will wait much longer, especially after this.

This is worse than anything that I can recall from even the Republicans.

At least with the NAFTA dispute.... IT WAS A DISPUTE ABOUT THE ISSUES. And Clinton cannot run from the past, when she has been qouted supporting NAFTA. (I will get to that later today). But in response, she turns around and goes outside of the actual issues, and counters with a racist, fear based smear campaign, to attempt to play on fears of White voters in Ohio and Texas...fears based on race and religion.

Pelosi, Reid and others should ask her to step aside. In fact, all of the Superdelegates should show their disapproval by abandoning her right now. By sticking with her after this attack.... Clinton's Superdelegates are indicating that they are co-signing this smear effort.

Should I start making a list of who these people are? The world should know who supports Clinton's Smear tactic.
