The Race-Baiting Fear Monger Continues to Cheat

Per the NYTimes:

In reference to "do-overs" in Michigan and Florida:

Update, 6:30 p.m. In an interview with U.S. News & World Report, Senator Clinton had this to say about the process going forward:

I would not accept a caucus. I think that would be a great disservice to the 2 million people who turned out and voted. I think that they want their votes counted. And you know a lot of people would be disenfranchised because of the timing and whatever the particular rules were. This is really going to be a serious challenge for the Democratic Party because the voters in Michigan and Florida are the ones being hurt, and certainly with respect to Florida the Democrats were dragged into doing what they did by a Republican governor and a Republican Legislature. They didn’t have any choice whatsoever. And I don’t think that there should be any do-over or any kind of a second run in Florida. I think Florida should be seated.]

Of course, she doesn't want a second run. How could she CHEAT if it was fair and square?

Even the "do over" seems unfair to me....

Would they do this for any other candidate? I doubt it.

If the tables were turned and it was Obama.... there wouldn't even be a discussion about a "do over".

It is because she is the wife of a former President, and because of White privilege that this is even an issue.

This really isn't about the voters of the two States.... I don't see them protesting by the thousands. The only people raising Hell are Clinton supporters.

The Democratic voters of Florida and Michigan had their chance to raise objections. And people are attempting to make this an issue between the people of Florida and Michigan...and the Presidential candidates... when it really should be framed as a dispute between the Democratic voters of Florida and Michigan and their State Party officials. THAT's where the dispute begins and ends.

They knew what the rules were...and they decided to defy the National leadership. It was a petty dispute that could have been and should have been avoided.

There was a public comment/complaint period where the National Party held off on taking action.... No one raised Hell. That was the time to raise the issue. Now all of these people (mostly Clinton supporters and operatives) are coming out of the woodwork...pretending that this is somehow a new issue that caught them by surprise.

NONSENSE!

This is a backdoor way of helping Clinton...and it's not fair...even with the "do over".

If those two States were strong Obama States... NO ONE WOULD BE CALLING FOR A "DO OVER"...and everyone knows it.

I'm hoping that Obama can do well enough in the remaining States... that the "do over" scheme won't help Clinton that much at all.

I think Clinton's goal is to be able to argue that by winning Michigan and Florida...she has won all of the "big states".

There is nothing in the rules that says that this should be the basis for picking a nominee. However...there is a basis for supporting the candidate with the most pledged delegates.

I have a feeling that the Superdelegates are going to go with Clinton.

Consider that at this late date... she has more Superdelegates. This is the direction that this is heading....and it's going to be a trainwreck in Denver.

The Clintons are obsessed with power...and she is not going to give up. She doesn't give a damn about the good of her party.
(she has already chosen McCain over Obama...what kind of nonsense is that...clearly an attempt to publicly humiliate Obama... to kill his viability). SICKENING!

The only way that she might step aside is with an intervention from Party leaders.
