Two Atlanta Police officers pleaded guilty last week for the death of a 92 year old woman shot dead during a botched drug raid.
Meanwhile, the New York Times is reporting a culture of widespread corruption within the Atlanta Police Department.

I'm a student in Atlanta, and I remember when this story first broke, the news claimed the victim was protecting her wanted grandson, whom the police were really after, and tried to cast her in a negative light. And now, months later, Atlantans have given little to no mention of the story.
