Michael Steele .....Undercover Black Panther?

So says David Duke.

Hat tip: Jack and Jill Politics

David Duke calls Michael Steele, the new Chairman of the RNC....

a radical Black racist

Really?

That's a surprise to the large group of Black folk out there who believe Steele is just thisside of SAMBO.

Radical Black Racist?

Lawdhammercy.

Here's some more:

Steele is a passionate supporter of affirmative action programs that racially discriminate against tens of millions of White Americans. He also supports increased discrimination against White owned businesses in the awarding of non-merit and non-bid minority contracts. He is opposed to the death penalty and thinks that it is disproportionately applied to Blacks even though it is applied to White murderers at 500 percent higher than it is to Black murderers. He is also an advocate of more gun control legislation as well as a draconian, massively increased enforcement of the current laws. He is a servile dog of Israel and has condemned Hamas and Hezbollah as terrorists and yet said not a word of compassion for the 5,000 (half of them women and children) who have been maimed and murdered in Gaza by Israel’s weapons of mass destruction. He says that he would still support the Iraq War and the loss of 50,000 maimed Americans, 4500 killed and trillions in cost, even though the reason for the war (Weapons of Mass Destruction) was proven to be a lie.

Where are the Sarah Palin rallygoers going to go now? One has to ask.

Michael Steele - radical Black racist...

Uh huh.

The GOP is presently a Southern, White Male party. What are they going to do now that Steele is in the GOP Chairmanship. It's going to be fascinating to watch him go around the country. Let's see how his selection shakes out in places like Alabama, Mississippi, Western Pennsylvania, Appalachia. I want tape recorders everywhere that he goes to speak.

UPDATE: found this and thought it was hilarious.

Something’s Happening Here

There's something happening here
What it is, is exactly clear
There's a man with a black face over there
Telling me I got to beware

I think it's time we stop, hey, why’s he brown
Everybody look what's going down

There's battle lines being drawn
Nobody's white if everybody's Black
Black people speaking their minds
Getting so much resistance from behind

I think it's time we stop, hey, why’s he brown
Everybody look what's going down

What a field-day for the RNC
The base are rearing their ugly heads
Singing songs and carrying signs
Mostly say, we lost the election for our side

It's time we stop, hey, why’s he brown
Everybody look what's going down

Paranoia strikes deep
Into your life it will creep
It starts when you're always afraid
You step out of line, the man come and take you away

We better stop, hey, why’s he brown
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, hey, Michaels brown
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, now, Steele is brown
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, children, what's that sound
Everybody look he’s going down

those lyrics are money...I can't envision Michael Steele leading such a party to their promised land but it will be interesting to watch him try.

Interesting blog you’ve got here. Relevantly, Michael Steele, born 1958, is a member of Generation Jones--the generation between the Boomers and GenXers--which has now taken over as America’s new leaders. Obama, and many in the team he has assembled, are Jonesers. The GOP is now led by Jonesers as well, including Steele, Sarah Palin, Tim Pawlenty and Mark Sanford. I’m a Joneser and totally relate to this identity, and all the recent big-time national media attention about Generation Jones. We’re not Boomers or Xers! I’ve read several articles recently that make a strong case for learning more about Generation Jones to grasp the changes we can expect now in politics and leadership.

Steele embraces his Generation Jones identity, and speaks about the importance of the new Generation Jones leadership, in this short video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbbVe_Twui0

There is an op-ed about exactly this topic in USA TODAY this week: http://www.usatoday.com/printedition/news/20090127/column27_st.art.htm .

I’m very curious to see what Steele’s early weeks at this new job will look like.

I told you in the previous post on Steele that the racists in the Rethuglican Party would be going crazy (well they are already crazy... but now they are foaming at the mouth crazy).

They don't know what to do, lol.

My guess is that some will hold their noses and accept it...while others will want to leave the Party....which is just fine by me. Let them feed on themselves.

This looks like a Republican attempt to break from the Southern Strategy... but this may end up being a continuation of the same...in Black face. We've seen it too many times before. And I doubt that they really want to break from the old strategy. Because if you take away the South... The Republicans have no base and thus no Party. It might be suicide for them. It looks like they are playing games.... trying to use race...both as a wedge and as an advantage...depending on the political winds of the moment.

But they will have to do more than this to revive the Party....game playing won't cut it. They will have to show they want to go in a new direction via policies...and not just talk and grandstanding with these figurehead appointments (in this case...an appointment that they probably didn't want to make...but they held their noses and suppressed their racism just long enough, lol).

Just today they started complaining about the "Buy American" provision in the so called "Stimulus" bill (a misguided bill). For some reason they are against the idea of American companies getting the most from the government spending.

I understand why they are doing it.... but many of their constituents might not get it.
And it's ironic that they claim to be the Party of the American worker....and American products... yet they are coming out so strongly against this provision. It makes them look like hypocrites once again.

So they want the corporations to do well and they want to protect their exports...but they don't really care if the money stays in the United States to boost the economy (the point of the stimulus). They seem confused. Definitely a Party with no leadership.
